Start the engine and check, let idle.
For stepper motor idle solenoid valve, a "buzzing" sound in a short time after the internal engine flameout. (motor opening to the maximum)
For the pulse electromagnetic valve type idle electric control valve in the engine idling, remove the harness plug, then the idle speed should change. The above check, if abnormal, indicates that the idle solenoid valve or electric control part of the fault.

(2) inspection of idle solenoid valve
Stepper motor idle solenoid valve, there are usually 2 to 4 groups of electromagnetic coil, the resistance of approximately 10 K to 30 K, inspection on the socket respectively with multimeter to measure resistance of the electromagnetic coil, its value should be consistent with the provisions and shall not have short circuit or open circuit. Otherwise, it shall be to replace the solenoid valve.
For the pulse electromagnetic valve type idle solenoid valve, only one set of electromagnetic coils, the resistance of approximately 10 to 15.
With a multimeter measuring coil resistance in its socket, check whether there is short circuit or open circuit. If abnormal, should replace the solenoid valve.
