The function of crankshaft
The gas pressure piston came into the external output torque. Gas distribution mechanism to drive the engine and other auxiliary device used also.
Working conditions: gas pressure, inertial force and inertial moment. Alternating load impact.
The material: carbon steel (steam), alloy cast iron, nodular cast iron (wood).
The classification of the crankshaft:
Integral (commonly used)
Combined type (commonly used in connecting rod for small gasoline integral machine and rolling bearings as crankshaft main bearings of the engine)
Crankshaft repair
The crankshaft:
(1) for supporting a crankshaft main journal.
Full support: crankshaft main journal number one more than the number of cylinders. Strength, stiffness, wear is reduced; the diesel engine and gasoline engine are the most.
Non full support: the main journal of crankshaft number less than or equal to the number of cylinders. A larger load, shorten the total length of the crankshaft.

Crank: consists of a connecting shaft neck and its ends and crank shaft neck
