High turbine efficiency, due to steady flow
Good performance at high load
Simple exhaust manifold

Disadvantages
Low available energy at turbine
Poor performance at low speed and load
Poor turbocharger acceleration

Applications
Large industrial and marine engines operating at steady speed and load, highly rated; two- and four-stroke
